OC Season 1

2019.09.15 10:03 7-Bongs OC Season 1

After 5 or 6 failed attempts to force myself to finish the early years of OC that I never watched (everything pre-god aka Heather Dubrow) I'm finally making some progress. Almost done with season 1 and I'm calling a Karen Huger press conference to discuss this foolishness. I have many feelings, none of them being emotionally fulfillment. Know that. There will be typos and shitty formatting as I'm on my phone, apologies in advance.
  1. Shane Keough (sp?). I won't lie, when he first came on the screen it was love at first sight of that booty. It was everything and I wanted to know it in the biblical sense... Then this son of a bitch does the unthinkable. We've got beautiful shots of landscaping, Slade Smiley (we'll get to him shortly. Oh yes, As god as my witness we are going to discuss him.) Drinking a cup of coffee while having some obviously well rehearsed dialogue with Jo "he's basically keeping me" Insertirrelevantsurnamehere about the date of their back lawn which is covered in holes. Okay, not terrible, just some light filler footage... Or so I thought. What happens next? We see Vicki pre-botox bitching about rabbits. To quote every clickbait Facebook article from 2015 "WHAT HAPPENS NEXT WILL LEAVE YOU SPEECHLESS!" This sexy son of a bitch pulls out a rifle and starts butchering hundreds of thumper's brothers and sisters while joking with his stupid friend about "lol this gun isn't killing any of them. If they fall down just break their necks". It was mutiny, it was disgusting, it was basically a live adaptation of Watership Down and I'm simply not here for it. Then he goes to Jo's a few episodes later (low-key expected them to end up fucking and then Slade walks in because his entire storyline is scripted and i wouldn't put it past him to orchestrate that plotline from hell for camera time.) And kills even more while laughing about it. The housewives keep acting like this is normal behavior and it's not. It's not okay, Kim. It's just not okay. I digress. Dead to me, Shane. You're dead to me... But we can still smash. Next.
  2. Slade. This piece of work right here. Every single scene he did was clearly scripted by himself. Nothing feels genuine. The stupid argument with Jo at lunch, Slade pretending he's this superdad (PAY 👏 YOUR 👏 CHILD 👏 SUPPORT 👏👏👏), his kept fiance putting on a Halloween pimp hat and boa, calling him to tell him to come home, then her grinding his lap while lifting her top off while he sits there with a cartoony "GADZOOKS!!!" expression, the fake meeting with one of his neighbors who he claims he didn't know outside of the show when the guys' over the top obvious acting antics of treating Slade like some annoying door to door salesman (which, granted, he basically is) seemed like something out of a really, really corny sitcom from the early 90's that they'd rehearsed for days. I can't with him. Then we have to sit through Slade in his tight underwear, legs spread for days, and watch him doing sit ups, the camera basically focusing on his sock-stuffed bulge. I hate him. With everything in me I hate the man.
  3. Jeana's husband. He looks like a pedophile and I'm 95% sure he beats her. I'm getting major Russell Armstrong vibes. Also, his mustache is hideous and his skin is sun-scoarched.
  4. Don seems like a good guy, Michael is just as irrelevant then as he is now, and Brianna seems like she was still the voice of reason back then. It's nice to see her without her creepy overstepping husband Cadet Bitchtits trying to steal every scene with his douchebaggery antics. Vicki... I low-key love her. She looks like a completely different person and she hasn't evolved into full on screeching lunatic just yet.
  5. Lauri "Are the police involved" Peterson (idk what her last name was back then and I dont care enough to try to find out). Her oldest daughter pisses me off more than she should. "Did you pay your car note?" "Yeah" "it was repossessed due to non payment" "lol jaaaaaykaaaaay" she's obnoxious. Lauri seems like the ultimate pushover and it's no wonder her son ended up in juvenile hall. I'll give her a pass for now because "are the police involved" is, and always will be, my favorite housewives tagline of all time... However, if she ever mutters the words "I look 32 thanks to botox" again I'm flying to California, tracking her down, and screaming "NO YOU DON'T" in her face before turning swiftly away from her and going home.
  6. The lady with the cheetah print top that looks like something from a mid-90's skinomax flick adds nothing to the show and her neck never matches the foundation she uses on her face and it bothers me so much.
TL;DR Shane Keough is a sex god but he's basically Bunny Hitler.

2019.07.31 19:48 DanniDoolittle Gretchen has some pretty big money problems

Link
“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gretchen Rossi’s home that she shares with fiancéSlade Smiley, may be auctioned off for allegedly being behind $26,000 in payments.
Quality Loan accused Rossi of being behind $25,894.91 on her condo, where her and fiancé Slade Smiley live. They told Rossi they would set an auction date within 90 days, if she didn’t settle the debt.
They weren’t messing around and have indeed set the date for next month. Rossi will have to pay the outstanding $25,894.91, to avoid the auction from moving forward.
